Calling all artists! I'm looking for fan art for the site! Yes the art will be used in the on-line store that's being created. Credit will be given to the artists who create art that is used as well as a possible commission on sales.
Otherbeings is looking for ways to become a self-sustaining site through revenue.
Also witty catchphrases are being sought as well. One catch-phrase that we are currently looking for art on is "Come on over to the Dark Other Side... We have Chocolate Chip Cookies!"

We have just updated the chat technology!
No longer do we have to abide by Mibbit's constraints on how many total clients across the web can connect to DALnet; a problem that caused more than a few 'failure to connect' notices for our users.
We have upgraded our chat technology to the Open Source Software CoolSmile Java IRC Client.

This is it! We have gone live! Please understand that just because we are live, it doesn't mean that this is the final version of the site. We know that there are certain aesthetic bumps in the design. For instance, laptops may not be able to see the full menu to the left. Rest assured, our design team is working hard to rectify these issues and bring you the best possible experience. But the overall design is complete. Now over the next few weeks we plan on improving the technologies of the site to further make the community more comfortable to the average user. Pardon our dust as we continue to improve and keep note of this page as here will be the first notice of any changes and upgrades that have been done.
Another issue that we are aware of, and we assure you that it is a priority to get online as soon as possible, is that currently there is no way to really contact us. Over the next few days we hope to have this problem resolved and will then provide contact links and forms to give you a direct line to the administration.
Note:
Some members have raised concerns that words in the links menu appear to be misspelled. Let me assure you that this is not the case. The font used in the link images is an old form of english that has not been used for many generations. As such, certain letters can have a form that can be confusing to readers. Take for instance the y in Metaphysics. It looks like the letter n in the script that was used. However, if you look at the letter n in Calendar, you can verify with certainty that the n looking character in Metaphysics is not an n at all.
